Dear Readers,

Even though I haven't sold that many necklaces yet, I have given many away as gifts and the like and I've gotten many wonderful comments and compliments. I wanted to share them with you (and compile them for when I open my own website for my hand-painted jewelry):

Hey Hannah! I just got the birthday piece, and it is even cooler in person than in photo. Thank you so much!!!!! You are KILLER talented! I will for sure refer you all over the place + take a picture and post on facebook soon. xoxoxoxoxo

From my sister-in-law, Cindee (after sending her an iris necklace she wanted):

Hi Hannah,

I got the necklace you sent yesterday. Its absolutely beautiful, and thank you so much!

and later regarding the tiger necklace I made for her:

I just saw the picture of the tiger necklace. It's BEAUTIFUL! I love it!!!!!! Thank you so much for doing that for me! I have gotten a few compliments on the one I have now as well. Everyone seems to like it! You do very good work and I can't wait to get the tiger!

Thank you again, and love you all!!!!
Cindee

From my mother-in-law, Gail:

Hi Hannah...Wow, that was fast and it's so beautiful!...you are so talented.

and:

I am honored that you are sending pieces for the gallery ....I look forward to seeing them in "person". You have a very unique and interesting style....I am loving it!

From my (soon-to-be) sister in law, Mira:

Lovely doing business with you,
and I'm so excited to feature it in our new home.
Keep up the excellent work!

xoxox,
Mira

And also from Mira:

Hey Hannah!

Yes! We got it today. I was going to wait until I took a picture tomorrow to email you, and I didn't get an opportunity to today. It look so cool though. I love it. I think I'll use it to inspire me when finishing the decorating the rest of the living room. I love the colors. I'll send you a picture tomorrow. Thanks so much for sending it, and for your sweet card.

From Shane after he and Mira purchased the Iris painting:

Hey Hannah! We love your new pieces. They seem very inspired -- I guess your pendant work was good preparation somehow for these larger works. It will be a good addition to our new home. We really needed something like that to "bless" the adode, you know? Hope all is well. Talk soon. Love, Shane O

From my friend Bev:

Hannah,

Thanks so very very much for your very own piece of art.  I am so thrilled to have "an original" and will cherish it the rest of my life. Love ya, Bev

Also from Bev (regarding a commissioned piece for her sister and one for her brother, both with September birthdays):

Boy, she better love it,  It's beautiful!  Thanks, Hannah.

Thanks, Hannah, they look beautiful!  Hope they like them too!

From Brenda, after showing her some examples of my work:

WOW Hannah Those are just GREAT....let me think about this a little ( as opposed to flower...I like the eyes...or head with eyes....let me think about it.....have you done pottery...have you considered Coasters....you can do a small simple painting....and they are unique....and sell for good money too....When I was in Hawaii...I bought a couple that I really liked...I should show them to you...A lot of people want coasters...but are picky about what they buy ...there are some absorbent stone ones with paintings on them...the nicest ones look hand paiinted but likely aren't...Just another idea to add in...to already great ones...have you considered pins and pendants on some sort of stone or metal? or would that too hard to shape or cut?...what about pictures of peoples pets...the heads...
time to hit the hay...
Thanks for being so kind hannah,
Brenda

From the massage therapist who has my necklaces for sale in her office:

Love the new cards and necklaces. I wear yours sometimes for "viewing" and get lots of compliments. Hopefully we will sell many of them or even take specialty orders.

From Liz, the owner of Wildfire Arts Center:

Your stuff is wonderful, thanks for the photos, may we use the photos in a press release about the sale?

Liz

From Mick, in England, after I finished his 'Mickey Querent' drawing:

Hannah,

This looks great :~)

Thank you so much.

I hope to use the Mickey icon in the corner of webpages so I scaled your drawing down in a window about 2" high by 1.5" across to see how it would look.

Fan-tas-tic. It works really well for me that size. The details still come through. What do you think?

I don't see any reason to change anything. Thanks again.

Best wishes,

Mick

and also:

Hannah,

How are you? I've got your drawing of Mickey Querent framed and it looks great :~)

There's a small art shop nearby and I've taken things there before. They did a great job using a silver frame which has a subtle pattern in it.

I'll try to scan in a photo to send you.

Thanks again and best wishes,

Mick

From an Aussie friend of Jeremy's from Facebook after she looked at my artwithhannah website:

I looked at the website. It is great. She is a wonderful artist and the website really shows the viewer who she is as a person.

And after she looked at my Etsy site:

I am so blown away at the artwork on unclehannah.etsy.com. Hannah has a real talent!

From my mom, regarding the paintings I made for Gail's gallery:

Hi Hannah,
That Iris Vision ones is gorgeous.  When you have time I would love something for our apartment and will gladly pay you for it.  The leaf pins are very nice too.
Love,
Mom

From my sister Jessica:

I am excited for you to have your booth!  Your pendants are precious and they keep getting better.

From Patty, after sending her an invitation to my art booth:

Hi Hannah,
What beautiful work!!  Sorry I won’t be able to attend this time, but please keep me on your list.  Thanks for thinking of me.
Patty

Your pendants are becoming more sophisticated and refined with each new round.
Keep up the good work, I remember how your animal-based work sold at DIA grad.

Dad

From my sister's friend Jade:

These are cute, Hannah!  I have a lot of favorites, but I think my most favorites are La Rosa and La Luna.

Heya!  Yes, I saw your page with the wearable art...awesome!

From my friend Mikal (after receiving his birthday present of a robot pin):

... And the pin is beautiful; I'll wear it with pride and
robo-hawtness. :) :P Thanks again and again, I continue to be in your
debt.

Anyway, I probably missed some, but I really appreciated all the lovely comments.

XOXO,

Hannah
