This morning, after being up until 3am with Pele (sigh), I went to Cafe Ardour near Old Town Fort Collins. Cafe Ardour is a locally owned, wind-powered coffee shop with a variety of drinks and breakfast/lunch fare. Not gluten and dairy free, but good. And they also carry local artist's work. I gave my card to them a few weeks ago and was surprised to hear back recently. They were taking down some of the old work and wanted to put some new things in. So I tweaked a display I already had-nothing impressive, a thick wooden board with eight hooks in it. I painted it black and altered it so it could hang up on a wall. Space is limited so I figured this was the best option.I chose eight necklaces that I wanted to display. These pieces:

Anyway. It looks alright. A bit casual, especially with the thumb-tacks on the sign, but the space is fairly casual so I think it's alright.

Hopefully they sell, or at least, hopefully they won't get stolen. They warned me of the (slight?) possibility of theft since the staff can't constantly monitor them. I decided I'd go ahead and take the chance. If something does happen, I just won't do something similar in the future.
Love,
Hannah
