Nothing could be simpler and more silly than this recipe. I just threw a can of black beans, some sliced nitrate-free franks (from the health food store), some ketchup, mustard, blackstrap molasses, cumin, clove powder and some frozen corn. I cooked it a bit too long and it turned a tiny bit soupy. I ate it with a slice of gluten-free rice pecan bread. Not bad--could've used some sliced onions or something. You could easily change the flavors of this by adding different spices and vegetable additions. I almost made it with garbanzo beans but changed my mind. I think it would be really good with a couple different types of beans. Azuki beans+black or garbanzo+red beans...etc. Or even add lima beans or lentils instead.
