Well I'm sure most of you know what chai is. A delicious, spicy, sweet blend of indian tea that is often sweetened and some type of milk added. I've tried many different types, both brewed by myself and found in coffee shops and other such places. I recently had the pleasure of trying a brand of chai, Bhakti Chai, made locally in Boulder. Wow. It's head and shoulders above most of the chai brews I've tasted. Note, when I say 'brew' I don't mean alcoholic. It's not. Hehe.

The large jar makes 8 servings (which I guess is a little pricey for 9-10 dollars, but still saves money over buying it in a coffee shop, and it's SO good). There is another type which I also tried at the same time, which is Barackti Chai, which was created in honor of Obama's inauguration. In addition to the usual chai ingredients, it also has kenyan coffee in it, which gives it a pleasant coffee flavor:

I give them both a high rating, although I think I prefer the original flavor, just because I guess I'm a chai purist. So I'll say:
Bkahti Chai=5 stars
Barackti Chai=4.5 stars
